INTRODUCTION

What would you do if someone tells you that they have been sexually assaulted and seeks your help? This training package aims to provide healthcare professionals and police officers with the necessary guidance and training.

There are two film modules in the training section. Care is about looking after the victim. Evidence shows you how to collect and preserve evidence, and thereby support the conviction of assailants. If you are providing a teaching session, there is a slide presentation that you can use along with the films. Learners can test themselves with the Multiple Choice Questions. In the guidance section there are flow charts and forms to download, and there are weblinks and references for further information.
